1. Why did you initially decide to write a book?

Finally had time and the headspace to do it. Characters have always filled stories in my head. Yes, I’m aware that sounds a little odd. I wanted to see how they would behave released into the world.

2. What genres do you enjoy reading?

Romantic suspense, paranormal romance. However, I belong to a novella book club, and I have enjoyed exploring this shorter form across diverse subjects.

3. What do you love most about being an author?

Disappearing into alternative worlds.

Having an excuse to indulge my introvert and stay home drinking endless cups of tea, creating playlists for my stories, and eating chocolate. Life is good.

4. What is currently on your TO BE READ pile?

Had to laugh. At the moment, I am deep in the editing cave so my TBR pile is holding up the ceiling of my study. On the top of the pile, I believe I can see, Perfect Strangers by J.T. Geisinger.

5. What drew you to the subject of your latest novel?

I lived in NYC for eleven years and wanted to revisit. I love a good action, suspense story and I wanted to create my own heroes and the partners who win them.

6. Where is your novel set? (If you write fantasy, how would you best describe the world of your latest novel)?

My first series, Sentinel Security – London, – London (my hometown) and Burkina Faso (West Africa), a country dear to my heart.

King’s catch is the first book in the second series Sentinel Security NYC.

7. What’s the most interesting book you’ve read in the last year – and why?

Honestly, I racked my brain trying to think of one and couldn’t decide. There are too many great reads out there. Yay!

8. What authors do you love to follow?

Nyssa Kathryn – an Australian author who writes fantastic romantic suspense.

Susan Stoker – a queen of the military romance genre.

9. Do you prefer paperbacks, hardbacks, or eBooks, as a reader – and why?

EBooks during the light of day.

Paperbacks when I am snuggled under the covers at night.
